JCCS Academic Language Assessment Week 23 - Dog Fighting

Dog fighting should be illgegal. One reason that it should be illegal is because dogs get hurt often and most of them end up with DISTINCT scars or no ears. Another reason is because people would want to keep making dogs fight to make money once they discover this is a good FORMULA to get rich  quick. This activity has the POTENTIAL to become something to entertain and not just for making money. Overall dog fighting should be illegal.

Felons should not be allowed to vote. This is COMPLEX but because felons have broken the law they shouldn't be allowed to vote. Another reason is that they will vote for laws that are RELEVANT to their crimes so that they get less of a sentence. In addition, the SOURCE of their crime should also be taken into consideration. Overall, felons should not be allowed to vote.

Performance enhancing drugs, such as steriods, should not be allowed in sports. The primary reason performance enhancing drugs should not be used is because it can affect your body in a negative way. Professional sport players should start a new tradition that consists of being all natural that will influence all athletes to not use drugs. Some people misuse the drug and should only take them for a short period of time but they take them longer. Overall, performance enhancing drugs are very dangerous and should not be used by anyone
